A few years ago we attended a great festival of (broadly speaking) goth music in the center of Portugal. The venue was an amazing castle with stages on each esplanade, maximum capacity expressed in a magical number we now forgot and perfect acoustics inside the chapel, which was in ruins. One of the headlines was Atari Teenage Riot, and it was a riot. They were blasting, and they got us vibing very high and very hard when the singer stopped to address the audience. He said that their band had been born in the 90s as a response to neo-Nazis walking the streets of Germany then, and they felt they needed to make a comeback way into the second decade of the century because fascism was again walking the streets of Europe and it was a global threat. From the magic number capacity, close to 700, only about 50 of us raised our fist and roared when we heard this. This print reminds us that we need to stand up and keep roaring before the fascist bravado. It’s also a wonderful conversation piece for that bland shelf on your living room.

We don’t fit inside their pigeonholes anymore. Oh, we’ve outgrown them. We never liked their boxes or their closets anyway! Labels, just like flags, divide and kill. They are useless. We’re proud to be different, indifferent to what is “normal”. Make it clear, put this print on your wall. And wake up or fall.

Were you looking for the perfect postcard? Here you are. For that friend who always puts you up when it gets late, or the one who always share their last slice of pizza with you. For the friend who brews some tea even though they are horribly tired after coming home from work, because they know you’re horribly tired too. The perfect postcard to wish your boss a Happy Solstice, or to sing Happy Equinox to your favorite witch. The perfect postcard to send to all those lovers who are too far way and who we are dying to embrace since Satan knows when.
